Kristen Noel Kristy Swanson gained international fame for her role in Buffy Summers. In the cult classic Buffy the Vampire Slayer, she played Rebecca Becky Granger. Being a native of California, Swanson was interested in acting from the time she was a child. She began working in the advertising world, appearing in a variety of commercials. She debuted on television in an NBCs It's Your Move sitcom show in 1984. In 1986 she debuted in an edgy romantic comedy titled Pretty in Pink.
