Julia-roberts
Julia Fiona Roberts' parents are Walter Grady Roberts and Betty Lou Bredemus. Roberts is from the fourth generation of Roberts family that resided in Atlanta. This started with her grandfather John Pendleton Roberts who was an agriculturalist. Early in his life the father of her mother became obsessed by the theater. He was a part of his Emory University campus in 1952 and also in a variety of productions in Atlanta. After joining the airforce, in 1953 he appeared in an air force production in Biloxi along with Betty Lou Bredemus. In 1955, the couple married and their son Eric Anthony was born. Walter went to Tulane University at New Orleans In 1957, the city of Louisiana where the couple had left the US Air Force. The family relocated in 1960 into Decatur Georgia where Walter began working for Atlanta's Academy Theater and the Harrington Scenic and Lighting Studio. Walter along with Betty Lou produced a Saturday morning local television show for kids named Bum Bum and His Buddies in 1964. This was a project they self-financed. In 1964, Walter and Betty Lou founded the Actors and Writers Workshop. It ran for six years. They were joined by Lelisa Billingsley (also called Lisa) and Julia (also called Julie) at the time.
